Interface Work Area
The Interface work area is a separate window where all interfaces are listed. You can carry out various manipulations with interfaces like delete, create new, copy, add a note and sort.
To Manage Interfaces:
- Select Interfaces in the Navigation Pane.
- The Interfaces work area appears:

The Toolbar menu options are the standard options described in Common Toolbar commands and you may create new interfaces; edit or copy an existing one; add relevant notes and enable/disable an interface.
The Interfaces toolbar includes two additional buttons:

Description |

Execute |
Execute selected interface(-s). A warning message appears, click confirm to continue. The selected interface(s) will run immediately. Once confirmed, you can only cancel the execution of the interface by using the Real Time dashboard. |
Import |
Import an interface from XML. The software prompts to select an XML file. |
Note: The toolbar options may change depending on the definitions of the current interface.
The Interfaces table in the work area provides the following information:

Description |

Name |
The Interface name. Select a relevant name. |
Is Active |
Optional. The interface will run if the checkbox is selected. |
Interval |
The length of time between two consecutive runs. |
Last Executed |
The timestamp for the last run (transaction). |
Is Executing |
Shows if the interface is currently running. |
Average Runtime |
The average time it takes the interface to run. |
Folder |
The folder the Interface belongs to. |
Run on API |
Allows running the Interface by a call via IConduct API. |
Run on Scheduler |
This determines whether the interface will run manually or automatically. The run is scheduled via the IConduct scheduler. |
The Interface work area provides the standard IConduct platform options. All the sorting/grouping and searching options are enabled.
